With the holiday season come office parties. With office parties in this industry comes alcohol. Usually not a problem, except when you're an alcoholic still learning how to handle easy temptation. I can usually avoid the firm-wide party in New York, but the two local ones are different. Those are pretty much attendance-mandatory, and one is even held right in the office.
Gonna be a long December.
PS - is it me, or does Christmas seem to not be exploding everywhere quite as early as usual this year? Or have I somehow managed to stay oblivious this far?
