Welcome!

This is a humorous and sarcastic blog written by a paralegal in a mid-sized law firm in a mid-tier market. The goal is to share some of the pitfalls and foibles encountered in my own day-to-day experiences. Feel free to contact me at aparalegalslife@gmail.com with comments. Complaints, not so much :)

Post-trial thoughts

Now that I have had a couple weeks to digest the trial from hell, a few things have been on my mind.  Trials are the worst thing any paralegal will endure, except maybe unemployment.  Trials suck.  Elephant balls.  Trials suck elephant balls.  Paralegals find themselves preparing documents, researching law, arranging meals, baby-sitting clients, running errands, handling emergency needs, coordinating with co-counsel, and even running to Wal-Mart to pick up random things people forgot.  All of that in the same day.  Don't expect to sleep.  Eat whenever you can, because there's no telling when you will get a free minute to get food again.

Trials are evil.  The only thing good about them is that they end.
