Being a Paralegal is a lot like being a spy.  Except for the whole travelling around the world thing.

If you are doing the job right, noone knows you are doing it.

You always get the blame when something goes wrong, but when everything goes right someone else takes the credit.

You are privy to a lot of secret information.

You get paid very little for doing difficult and thankless tasks.
