One of the advantages of working for several dozen lawyers is that there are many different personalities, and you aren't bombarded by the same one all day long. (See www.paralegalhell.com for more on that topic.)
Of course, the chief disadvantage is that none of the several dozen lawyers realizes that you also work for OTHER lawyers, and automatically assumes you don't have anything to do unless THEY give it to you. And of course, the last thing any lawyer wants to hear is that some other lawyer's problem is more important than their own. Plus, we are forbidden from turning down assignments. This means it it entirely likely that one person will get all of the urgent work while the rest of the paralegals sit around playing computer solitare.
Three guesses what today was like...
